These templates are for the original (larger) version of the App Smash Challenge. This game board includes 20 tasks, including:

              • 3 Create Something Challenges
              • 3 Peer Feedback Challenges
              • 5 Practice Skills Challenges
              • 5 Stop & Assess Challenges
              • 4 Thoughts / Reflections Challenges

  • Create Something Templates:
            • Create Something Challenge #1 - Add the details and directions for the first Create Something Challenge on the board. Then, set your sharing permissions appropriately and hyperlink the light bulb icons in spaces 4a & 4b to this document.
            • Create Something Challenge #2 - Add the details and directions for the second Create Something Challenge on the board. Then, set your sharing permissions appropriately and hyperlink the light bulb icons in spaces 13a & 13b to this document.
            • Create Something Challenge #3 - Add the details and directions for the third Create Something Challenge on the board. Then, set your sharing permissions appropriately and hyperlink the light bulb icons in spaces 18a & 18b to this document.
            • Create Something - Project Submission Form - Make a copy of this Google Form template for students to use to submit shareable links to their completed projects. After modifying with your own content, you will need to include a hyperlink to this form in all three of the Create Something directions documents.


  • Peer Feedback Templates:
            • Project #1 Showcase & Peer Feedback - You will add slides to this deck as students submit their Create Something projects to be published. Your students will access this deck to give Peer Feedback from space number 5 on the game board, so be sure to set the permissions so that your students can comment only (not edit).
            • Project #2 Showcase & Peer Feedback - You will add slides to this deck as students submit their Create Something projects to be published. Your students will access this deck to give Peer Feedback from space number 14 on the game board, so be sure to set the permissions so that your students can comment only (not edit).
            • Project #3 Showcase & Peer Feedback - You will add slides to this deck as students submit their Create Something projects to be published. Your students will access this deck to give Peer Feedback from space number 19 on the game board, so be sure to set the permissions so that your students can comment only (not edit).


  • Stop & Assess Templates:
            • Stop & Assess #1 - Make a copy of this Google Form template for assessment stop #1. After modifying with your own content, you will hyperlink the icon on space number 3 to the live version of the form.
            • Stop & Assess #2 - Make a copy of this Google Form template for assessment stop #2. After modifying with your own content, you will hyperlink the icon on space number 7 to the live version of the form.
            • Stop & Assess #3 - Make a copy of this Google Form template for assessment stop #3. After modifying with your own content, you will hyperlink the icon on space number 10 to the live version of the form.

  • Challenge Champions - Use this document to record the names of students who successfully complete all of the tasks in the challenge. Set the sharing permissions to anyone with the link can view, and then hyperlink the trophy icon at the Finish Line to this document.
